Sustainable House Day opens the doors to some of Australia's most sustainable homes and allows you check out innovative designs and products that have been included in real projects in your local area.

While there is a plenty of information about sustainable products and methods on the internet, it can all get a bit overwhelming at times with the sheer number of options - how do you choose?

The Sustainable House Day shows you first hand how how to create more energy efficient homes that are tailored to your local climate and you can speak to the owners about their experiences - not salespeople!

This year the open houses are split over two Sundays to make it easier to get around and see all the homes you'd like to visit.
